the fortitude in this servitude

in my psyche

of uplifting myself in the midst
of dropping some keys

What is me?
I am the refreshing splash of cold water
in 100 degree weather
I am your favorite desert
best eaten together
I am the center of the earth
the origin of the flow
the ebb and fall of the tides
I am the sun and moon
I go where you go
beneath the ocean
where the turtles play
on the farm where horses stay
between the sheets
where humans lay
oh and i must say
i love to be the imagination
of the perfect rain
the miles of green
on an open terrain
the towering legs
on a pure white crane
the lick of the lips
a tempting taunt
a soft spoken expletive
is it better to be blunt?

My ad would read
"He came to speak words"
that's it, no description
it's up to you to decide
is it fact or is it fiction?
were there truths, dares
and consequences?
Is he actually sane
or has he lost his senses?
past present or future
you must recognize the tenses
cause these sentences
has many apprentices
that can modify
and/or change the pretenses
you are my target audience
my goal is to take you to st. elseware
stroll down hill street blues
to turn the wheel of fortune
to get you out of jeopardy
while watching this evening news.

laugh and cry
live and die
bleed and breathe
argue and fight
together we rise to the sun
sleep to the moon
feel cold in December
feel hot in mid June
feel passion and love
curious about what is above
but the differences are those little experiences
left in between
together we can explore
like Smokey, stimulate your mind
use what you find
take possession of the time
make your experience sublime.
And most importantly be kind
to others and to yourself
you reap what you sow
