I took his offer and ran with it
down south of the border
I am a word horder,gorger and
I misuse them appropriately

I went to mexico and came back
with that

I get off on words
like a fiend on crack
wicked and excited I get
when I use a new one
they become so much fun

I like to word run
join me and lets orgasm....

As I peeped in here one evening
What was before my eyes
Some of the most powerful women
You could ever want to meet
Skin tone didn't matter
Where they lived wasn't a case
All I know when pen hit paper
Fingers hit the keyboard
You saw the great of the great come out
Wars were started to tear down strong holds
Peace was proclaimed
Joy was released
Hurt was healed
Bandaged wounds were exposed
All as they begin to rise
True women in Poetic form
Stood their ground all around the globe
No matter the mother language
They all understood the same thing
There was a job to be done
Silently going about their day
Nurses, teachers,mothers
Grandmothers all arising to the task at hand
For they knew others would follow
Into others souls and minds
They had to part their message
Didn't matter if it brought out tears
Or if laughter was shared along the way
All they knew was
They were Poets and had
No choice but to unite
Be on course
Poets had a message
Burning the midnight oil
Rising with the sun
It didn't matter
For they had no choice
In the depths of each of their souls
The burning was so deep
Together from all around the world
Men started to join
Giving out from their pens and keyboards
You heard the cry
Now a common place they can meet
No matter time or day
A new family has been born from one
She took off from a little seed
Started planting just like Johnny Appleseed
Next thing you know
She had a whole world around her
Now as she grooms and loves each one
Dripping her little hugs and kisses around
Don't be surprised if you get a nickname out of it all
See this new place all poets can totally be free
Was started by a "Baby"
She had a vision on day
NO one left behind she said
I want all types of poets
Those no one else wants to deal with
The rejects and true poets
Those that have soul
So on she went not just planting seeds any more
But now she is planting "Worlds"

So one and all
I want to welcome you
Implore you to stay
Yes hit the pen and paper
Dive in on that keyboard
Men and Women alike
