After Missing You
What do I do after missing you?
Do I wait for you by the door
And kiss you before your suitcase hits the floor?
Do I take you by the hand and lead you inside
Or watch you walk in with your sexy stride?
Do I undress you and take you to a bath filled with bubbles
Now you know that’s going to lead to some trouble
But that’s what I’m feeling like…trouble
What do I do after missing you?
It’s been a week that seemed an eternity
But I know you’re tired so I ignore my need
I’ve prepared your favorite dinner, so after your bath
We dine, talk about your trip and share a laugh
In bed I’ll massage you from shoulders to feet
My hands to soothe you; my lips for your treat
I’ll hold you as you sleep, waiting anxiously for dawn
Knowing that when the sun rises it’s going to be on
What do I do after missing you?
I hold you
Kiss you
Cherish you
Yearn for you
Burn for you
Love you
The same things that I always do
Before and after missing you
